They have an impressive production. It’s one of the few companies that actually makes exercise equipment in the US. The company has approximately 5,000 employees, as well as a large production and corporate complex.

A few reasons why you should choose the NordicTrack treadmill.
The company’s main focus is on innovation, this is one of the main things that make them stand out. Their iFit technology, adjustable decks, bright Smart HD screens with an internet browser, and incline trainers are just a few reasons why NordicTrack is so popular.

iFit Live – Running the World

iFit Live is an interactive technology designed to motivate you to reach your fitness goals. We had the opportunity to test it and were deeply impressed.

Basically, this program syncs your treadmill with an online subscription service that allows you to create customized workout plans, track your fitness stats, set goals, and get directions around the world thanks to Google Maps integration. You can also run virtual competitions against other NordicTrack owners.

Other features of NordicTrack treadmills

It should be noted that many key components such as motors, belts, and rollers are designed and manufactured in-house and created specifically for their products. This compares to other fitness equipment manufacturers who typically buy components off the shelf.

Large Motors – When comparing specifications, you will find that the NordicTrack has some of the most powerful motors in the price-performance ratio. Their motors are subject to rigorous testing for fault tolerance, and noise immunity.

Overall, they provide better performance at lower temperatures and come with a lifetime warranty. We saw their test room where they tortured motors to test their durability.

Large Running Belts – Like their motors, NordicTrack offers some of the most comfortable running surfaces.
Color displays with touch screen. Most treadmills costing more than 100,000 rubles are equipped with a color display. You can also visualize Google Maps features in iFit Live from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Sound systems with MP3 input and cooling fans. While speakers are becoming a standard feature on many treadmills, NordicTrack offers the best sound systems.

Our team plugged in an iPod the last time we visited their facilities and were impressed with the sound quality and clarity. Also, most treadmills have cooling fans that actually work. They have a couple of models where the fan intensity is adjusted according to your load level.

Why buy a NordicTrack treadmill?

The choice of professionals

The Assault AirRunner is a popular CrossFit model that can be found in thousands of clubs around the world. The manufacturing company Assault Fitness Products (USA) is the official partner of the Reebok CrossFit Games, the main sports CrossFit competition, which has been held annually since 2007.
Effective training

Efficiency. When running on the AirRunner, the athlete has to put in extra effort to compensate for the lack of a motor. For the same time and at the same speed, calories burned and oxygen consumption are 30% and 32% more, heart rate (HR) and pace are 16% and 2.5% higher than on a motorized treadmill.

The information display shows all the necessary information: time, calories burned, distance, speed, power, and pace.
Proper running technique. The curved shape of the belt trains the correct running technique and ensures safety during training. Mechanical tracks with this form of canvas were originally created for professional athletes and participants in the Olympic Games.

Optimal track for interval training

Lightning speed change. With AirRunner, you don’t have to wait for the treadmill to start or accelerate to your desired speed, and you don’t have to fiddle with buttons during your workout. This reduces the switching time between intervals to a minimum.

In choosing the best tracks for losing weight and keeping fit, we were guided by the following principles:

🤘 Reliability. Quality, durability, estimated service life, wear resistance, strength – call it what you want. For all rating models with reliability, everything should be on top, even for the budget class

💰 Balance of price and quality – we did not dare to include only premium models in the review, which are a priori more reliable, more functional, and more convenient than budget ones. On the contrary, we wanted to find and show tracks that are ideal in terms of price/quality ratio in different price segments.

🔥 Functionality and bells and whistles. Yes, 80% of our customers are looking for a treadmill for weight loss. And most of the more or less well-assembled models, even those left outside the rating, allow you to lose kilograms and centimeters. But how cool it is when the simulator can be adjusted to any goal and any user. Or the model can do something cool that others can’t. We also took this criterion into account when compiling our top.

Design and ergonomics. With the ease of use, everything is clear. But at the same time, convenience should be combined with aesthetics, but you choose a treadmill for your house, apartment or room, so the point of design and quality of materials is also taken into account when compiling the rating.

📦 Compactness. Still, the rating is called – the best simulator for the home in 2022 – which means that the tracks should, at a minimum, be foldable. And at the same time have a convenient and reliable system that allows you to easily fold or assemble them. Keeping an exercise machine in the house that takes up too much space is not a good idea for many of us, and we took this into account in our top.

FAQ

How to choose a treadmill?

As for us, the authors of the rating, we rightfully call ourselves experts in the topic of treadmills and other cardio equipment. And that’s why:

We have been on the market for sports equipment and fitness equipment since 2014. Survived crises, other stores, and the emergence of giants like Ozone in our niche. We feel great, are in great demand, and continue to help people find and buy the really best cardio equipment.

At the same time, treadmills are the most demanded category of our assortment. We sell them the most and most of all!

We communicate with buyers indecently a lot. More than 100 people visit the FitnessLook showrooms every day, and on an average day 1, our consultant receives over 80 phone calls.

We are not theorists, but practitioners. We personally test 80% of the models from the catalog. When we have a minute of free time, we shoot reviews and share them for free – subscribe to the FitnessLook YouTube channel and watch useful videos with reviews, ratings, and rules for selecting exercise equipment!

Plain and honest. We are not supermen, but we try hard and want to become them – at least in the field of sports equipment.

Why do you need a treadmill at home?

The ancients said: “If you want to be strong – run, beautiful – run, smart – run!”.

Indeed, jogging has an effective effect not only on the human body but also on his state of mind, and his psyche. With regular exercise, the overall tone increases, and the mood improves. As they say, who runs, he wants to live.

In jogging, which is called jogging, that is, shuffling, there is one serious advantage over regular running, speedrunning. This is the minimum chance of injury by reducing the load on the musculoskeletal system.

Why do you ask?

The fact is that the meaning of jogging is not in the distance that you have overcome in a workout, but in the duration of the session. Agree, at a speed of 7-8 km / h you can’t run far.

More important is the cyclicity, repetition, monotony, if you like, of muscular activity with its very calm rhythm. Running for health is characterized by its unhurried movement technique: a spanking relaxed foot, a short unsupported phase.

In fact, this is more of a brisk walk, a brisk walk, than a proper run. With its simplicity and accessibility, jogging attracts tens of millions of people regardless of their age, wealth, or occupation.

But the question arises: where to do it? Indeed, in an era of total stress and lack of free time, finding a “window” for “running around” can be problematic. Trips to the park or fitness clubs – for all their attractiveness, have the same drawback: lack of time.

What if you practice from the comfort of your own home?

For many office workers, this is indeed the best choice. All you need is a trainer. The advantage of an indoor treadmill is that it is always at hand, or rather under your feet. Run to your heart’s content when it’s convenient for you and you want, without fear of street slush, rain, or frost. In addition, running on city streets or in parks is not so safe.

Transport, people, bad roads, finally. No, no, yes, and step on an insidious pebble or fall into a pothole, and there you can file until a dislocation of the ankle or other unpleasant injury with your hand, or rather with your foot.

At home, you run in complete safety. And after jogging immediately in the shower. It’s definitely not on the street, but you still have to get to the fitness club.
Needless to say, running at home is much better. Home is home! The running simulator is part of the interior.

The indisputable advantage of installing a treadmill at home is its mobility. Almost all modern jogging trainers have a folding design and are equipped with transport rollers.

Such design solutions allow you to optimally fit the treadmill into the interior of your house or apartment. Moreover, according to the unanimous opinion of our customers, the installation of this device – regardless of the price range – immediately transforms the home.

Where is the best place to set up a treadmill?

There is no single piece of advice in this regard, except for one: common sense.

To get the most benefit and enjoyment from home running, probably the most optimal place for the machine will be a space filled with light and fresh air. Someone can’t tear themselves away from their favorite TV, watching a series, news, or entertainment program: great! Run around and watch or listen to what you like.

Duration of classes and their frequency
Often, those who have just started doing home running are surprised: I run, but where is the result. In this case, you need to understand: what goal are you pursuing with your training.

If you move a little and get shaken up after work-office, then once a week will be enough. But one should not expect that more serious tasks, such as losing weight, can be solved by such a gentle load.

To lose weight, you need at least three workouts per week. Remember: fats begin to be burned only after 40 minutes of running at an average pace.

For a beginner, of course, such feats will be difficult, and at first, experienced trainers advise finding a compromise between slow running and fast walking. The optimal time is 60 minutes.

Another aspect that is forgotten: is the right diet. Do not torture yourself with starvation diets, after training you should definitely eat. More cereals, seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits, and drinking water: about 2 liters per day.

And of course, in the name of the lofty goal of losing weight and building up, it is necessary to abandon harmful products. Forget about fast food, and quick snacks, excluding snacks, mayonnaise, flour, and sugar.

Is the treadmill noisy?

In large spaces, especially with parallel noise, it will be almost inaudible. Most treadmills are fairly quiet.
